OmniPork Strips Hot and Sour Soup

  • Carrot (Shredded)

Seasoning
  • Light Soy Sauce
1 tbsp (15ml)
  • Dark Soy Sauce
1 tsp (5ml)
  • White Pepper Powder
2-3 tsps (15g)
  • Mushroom Powder
1 tsp (5g)
  • Chinkiang Vinegar
1 tbsp (15ml)
  • Sesame Oil

Steps

1. Slightly thaw OmniPork Strip and wash throughout under running water, then shred thick OmniPork strip.

 

2. Heat oil in a pan, stir-fry ginger slices until aromatic and stir in OmniPork strip until fragrant, set aside.

 

3. Stir-fry carrot until softened, then add shiitake mushroom and cook until aromatic. Add bamboo shoots and stir well.

 

4. Turn to low heat and stir in light soy sauce, then pour in 1L vegetarian broth or water and mushroom powder. Turn to high heat and bring them to a boil.

 

5. Mix 2 tablespoons potato starch with 200ml water, then stir in the mixture gradually, stir until desired thickness.

 

6. Add the remaining seasoning, then add OmniPork strip and tofu, stir well and garnish with coriander.

 

 

Cooking Tips:

 

1. Adjust the ratio between ingredients and seasoning according to your preferences.

 

2. You can replace vegetarian broth by water.
