Teriyaki Chicken Rice Burger

Succulent teriyaki chick’n strips and crunchy fresh vegetables are sandwiched between slightly crispy rice burger, a nutritious and light lunch that only takes 20 minutes to prepare.

Ingredients (1 Serving)
  • White Rice
1 cup (186g)
  • Lettuce
2 slices (16g)
  • Tomato (Sliced)
2 slices (40g)
  • Gardein Teriyaki Chick’n Strips
1/3 pack (75g)
  • Teriyaki Sauce Pack
1/3 pack (25g)
  • Black Sesame
1 tsp (3g)
  • Vegetable Oil
2 tsps (9ml)
  • Tricolor Quinoa

Steps

Step 1

Mix white rice and black sesame, shape into two rice burger patties.

Step 2

Heat vegetable oil in a frying pan over medium-high heat and cook frozen chicken strips for approximately 5-7 mins until browned and crispy on all sides.

Step 3

Place the sauce pack in a bowl of hot water for 3 mins to defrost. Drizzle the sauce and stir-fry until the sauce is well mixed with chicken strips.

Step 4

Gently pan-fry the rice patties until they become firm.

Step 5

Assemble the rice burger by sandwiching lettuce, tomato and chicken strips. Enjoy !

 

 

Cooking Tips:

 

1. Can make a round mound by folding aluminium foil.

2. Make sure that the surfaces of mold or hands are damp so that the rice patty will not stick.

3. Can use Heura Original Chicken Chunks and Just Mayo as alternative filling of rice burger.
