Lady Finger OmniPork Beancurd Roll with Teriyaki Sauce

Ingredients (8 Rolls)
  • OmniPork(Defrosted)
130g
  • Lady Finger
8 pcs (95g)
  • Abura-age
4 pcs(120g)
  • Green Onion (Shredded)
1 stalk(10g)
  • Oil
1 tbsp(15ml)
Teriyaki Sauce
  • Soy Sauce
2 tbsps(30ml)
  • Mirin
2 tbsps(30ml)
  • Water
2 tbsps(30ml)
  • Sugar
1 tsp(5g)
Steps

1. Teriyaki Sauce: Mix soy sauce, mirin, water and sugar and cook over medium-low heat until thickens, set aside.

 

2. Bring a pot of water to a boil and blanch lady finger for 45 seconds, then drain and set aside.

 

3. Trim the stem of lady finger and cut abura-age into 2 horizontally.

 

4. Wrap lady finger with 1 tablespoon OmniPork as a roll.

 

5. Heat 1 tablespoon oil over medium-low heat and pan-fry OmniPork lady finger roll until golden brown and set aside.

 

6. Place an OmniPork lady finger roll on a halved abura-age and roll it up, then skew with a bamboo stick.

 

7. Heat a pan over medium-low heat, pan-fry skewer without oil until slightly golden and crispy on both side, then spread a layer of teriyaki sauce. Then, pan-fry for another 10-20 seconds (not pan-fry overtime to prevent burnt).

 

8. Garnish with green onion and enjoy!

 

Cooking tips:

  1. Besides pan-frying, you can bake under 180°C for 10-15 minutes or air-fry under 130°C for 10 minutes
