OmniFoods is going to launch “Omni Wok The World” dining experience. A collaboration with the rising star in the culinary scene and the mastermind behind Wendy’s Wok World, Sam Lui, and Gigi Paulina Ng, the owner of the century-old local restaurant Ser Wong Fun, the dinner aims to raise the awareness of vegetarian cuisine in this Earth Month. An authentic Chinese “wok hei” stirfry culinary experience has been elevated with innovative plant-based OmniPork series, presenting an exceptional evolution of the Chinese cuisine.


“Omni Wok The World” Special Dinner Event will be taking place at the 126-year-old snake bisque veteran Ser Wong Fun. Sam will be taking on her wok apprentice role of Wendy, filling Ser Wong Fun’s kitchen with aromatic “wok hei” during the dinner. Incorporating OmniPork series into authentic Chinese stir-fry cuisine, she will present a collection of flavourful yet wholesome vegetarian renditions under the nostalgic ambience with distinctive Chinese style furnishing.

One of the menu highlights, Ser Wong Fun Omni Soup is the acclaimed snake soup with a vegetarian and kinder twist. Made with a wide variety of fresh vegetables, the base broth is shimmered together with nourishing plant-based ingredients including OmniPork Strip, plant-based beef Unlimeat, plant-based chicken strip Heura, dried tangerine peel, shiitake mushroom and black fungus. Accompanied by crispy cracker and aromatic kaffir lime leaf, Ser Wong Fun Omni Soup is invigorating and soul-warming, with the enriched texture and nutrition from three different plant-based meats. Another vibrant dish, Braised Bean Curd and OmniPork Mince in Sichuan Chili Sauce, takes the traditional Mapo tofu dish to the next level. Created by Sam, this bean curd dish comprises a piquant secret sauce and delicious yet light OmniPork Mince, served alongside deep-fried dough stick. Nobody can resist the allure of the crunchiness of deepfried dough stick and the silky smoothness of tofu, bringing you versatile textures in just one bite. Taking place in Earth Month April, this special dinner event hopes to raise the industry’s awareness of vegetarian cuisine and climate change, spreading the message of diet change not climate change.
