Beyond-The-Classic Lasagna

Remember a great dish is not just about the ingredients, but also heart and soul you pour into. 100% plant-based minced beef combines with fresh vegetables to create this carnivore-approved meatless lasagna. Don’t have an oven at home? This dish is skillet-friendly and works in every house!

 

Beyond-The-Classic Lasagna

Ingredients (1 Serving) :

Tomato Beefy Sauce:

  • Beyond Beef
1/4 pack (113g)
  • Dried Basil Herb
To taste
  • Tomato Pasta Sauce
2 tbsps (30g)
  • Tomato (Diced)
1 pc (123g)

Layers:

  • No-boil lasagna pasta
4 sheets (91g)
  • Eggplant
1/4 pc (137g)
  • Baby Spinach
2 cups (60g)
  • Daiya Mozzarella Cutting Board Shreds
4 tbsps (28g)

 

Cooking Steps:

 

  1. Thaw the Beyond Beef in the fridgein according to package instructions.
  2. Preheat the oven to 190℃.
  3. Heat a saucepan and add in the Beyond Beef. Stir-fry and make it into crumble.
  4. When the beef becomes slightly firm, add in the tomato dices, tomato pasta sauce and basil. Reduce to low heat.
  5. Cut the eggplant into thin slices (about 0.5cm).
  6. In an oven-safe container, cover the bottom with the tomato beefy sauce, then place the lasagna sheet.
  7. Layer the top of the lasagna with eggplant, baby spinach and mozzarella shreds.
  8. Repeat the layering steps of sauce, lasagna, eggplant and spinach.
  9. Finally layer with sauce and mozzarella shreds.
  10. Cover the container with aluminium foil. Bake for 40 minutes.
  11. Present the lasagna on a plate. Ready to serve.
